TwilightRealm Marathon 2012

If you follow @TRwallpapers on Twitter, you may have already seen it being mentioned… TwilightRealm.net will have its very own Zelda marathon this summer! After over a year and a half of planning I can finally announce it:

From July 7 at 6pm UTC until July 10 at 6pm UTC we’ll be playing several titles of the Zelda franchise, for 72 hours straight to raise money and awareness for Child’s Play Charity. As of now, preparations are still in full force, but a few testruns will be held very soon so keep an eye on our Twitter: @TRmarathon!

Zeldathon 2011 for Child’s Play Charity

Zeldathon has started again! Be sure to check it out and ofcourse donate, because they’re playing for Child’s Play charity :)

Edit: And it has ended after 170 hours, raising a whopping $15,600 which makes them officially a platinum CPC sponsor! Great job Zeldathon team and thanks for a great week! Until next time :)

New & improved!

It’s been planned for over a year, in development for 6+ months and now it’s finally finished. Not just the looks have changed, the entire website received a complete technical overhaul (that’s why it took so long ;)).

Everything, from pages to posts to wallpapers runs on the CMS now. This allows me to track downloads and manage wallpapers easier. Plus, it increases consistency and security because I used to do everything wallpaper-related manually. Which was kind of a drag… Anyway, for me personally it has improved a LOT and I feel quite proud of all the customization I managed to implement, even though it took many, many long nights of coding and importing all those wallpapers. I’d say it was worth it!

New exclusive wallpaper: Leaving Skyloft

In light of the upcoming release of Skyward Sword, and ofcourse, because a new exclusive wallpaper was waaayyy overdue, I thought it was time for a new wallpaper. This one’s been sitting in its PSD for quite a while (like many others*), unfinished. Today I managed to add what I felt was missing and uploaded it for you guys to download. Skyward Sword & Ocarina of Time(3D) officials

E3 flew by again and ofcourse E3 means (besides the conferences and announcements): presskits! This year’s contains some new stuff, of which I could make new official wallpapers. Check out each new Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time and Ocarina of Time 3D officials!

Note: Ofcourse some artwork was released for Ocarina of Time 3D, but as most of it is in fact re-released old artwork I list them under the original Ocarina of Time category. Only the new OoT3D artwork will be in its own category.
