Everything, from pages to posts to wallpapers runs on the CMS now. This allows me to track downloads and manage wallpapers easier. Plus, it increases consistency and security because I used to do everything wallpaper-related manually. Which was kind of a drag… Anyway, for me personally it has improved a LOT and I feel quite proud of all the customization I managed to implement, even though it took many, many long nights of coding and importing all those wallpapers. I’d say it was worth it!

So I hope you like it as much as I do :) Have a look around, and as always: please let me know if you find a bug/glitch! Then I can fix it right away. Thank you :)

Note: Ofcourse some artwork was released for Ocarina of Time 3D, but as most of it is in fact re-released old artwork I list them under the original Ocarina of Time category. Only the new OoT3D artwork will be in its own category.

There’s this neat little tool called TinEye, which is basically a reverse image search tool. Out of sheer curiosity I went to see if my wallpapers were posted somewhere else besides here on TwilightRealm. Instead, I stumbled upon a deviantART avatar made out of one of my wallpapers (Wallpaper police, haha!). Now, I don’t really make a big deal out of these kind of things, but this one was not credited to  TwilightRealm whatsoever and the deviant stated that credit should be given to themselves and it belonged to them. As this avatar was simply a cropped and resized version of one of my wallpapers, this is ofcourse incorrect and, well, not very cool in my book.

So I just want to let you know I’m okay with making avatars or signatures from my wallpapers, just don’t state it as your own and give credit where credit is due. That’s all I’m asking :)

P.S. Better late than never: Happy 25th Zelda anniversary!!

Took some doing to increase the quality of the image of Link, as it’s old and pretty grainy. So besides the standard procedure, I fixed the shading, desaturated the colors and smoothed out the lines a bit just to make it a little less “cartoony”. I’m quite happy with the result, I must say! I hope you do too, enjoy!

So I’ll be backing things up in a minute (right after I finish writing this post) and TR will be down until everything is “on the other side”. You’ll know when we’re there ;)
